'Budget is a mess’ : "NDIS
The NDIS Quarterly Report shows there are now more than 550,000 Australians with disability receiving life changing support from the world leading Scheme - with 23,137 new participants joining the NDIS this quarter.
There is growing financial demand for NDIS. Since 2015 to 2025, it is predicted to exceed $45 billion of revenue to NDIS.There are 37 recommendations under the report, no one understands it, these will not be easily implemented.
Why can we not implement the 'KISS' philosophy (keep it simple stupid) to a government that would struggle to organise a drink at a pub.
Demand for NDIS is simply outstripping supply, yet developers have an appetite to implement it. Why the wait to have a positive impact socially!?Independent senator's comments ring true - It appears that this Labor government can find extra money for just about anything.-from inland rail cost blowouts to submarines. But it won 't do more to protect the most vulnerable!
NDIS demand is simply outstripping supply.More needs to be done to support this vulnerable community, and avoid them living in aged care facilities as many are in the 18-45 year age bracket and need choice and control over where they live.
